I am the founder of We Believe Prison Consulting Group and We Believe Reentry AssistanceGroup.
I am a man of faith who loves the Lord, a devoted husband who loves his wife, a father who loves his family, a veteran, a business owner, and a first-time offender. I am also someone whose life was forever changed by experiencing the federal prison system firsthand.
Like many people, I never imagined that incarceration would become part of my story. As a former business owner, I found myself involved in circumstances that ultimately led to a federal conviction and a twenty-two-month sentence in a Federal Prison Camp. Regardless of how I viewed the events that led to my conviction, I accepted responsibility for my role and made a commitment to use that experience as an opportunity for growth, reflection, and purpose.
During my time in prison, I witnessed something that deeply impacted me. I met countless individuals from all walks of life—fathers, veterans, business owners, professionals, and young
people—many of whom entered the system unprepared and uncertain about what lay ahead. I also saw families struggling to understand how to support their loved ones while dealing with fear, confusion, and emotional hardship.
What became clear to me was that incarceration affects far more than the individual serving the sentence. It affects spouses, children, parents, friends, and entire communities. Yet many families have nowhere to turn for practical guidance, preparation, and support.
I also observed that many individuals leave prison facing significant barriers to rebuilding their lives. Housing, employment, financial stability, family reunification, and personal confidence often become major challenges during the reentry process. Without preparation, support, and a plan, successful reintegration can be difficult.
Through faith, prayer, personal reflection, and a commitment to helping others, I discovered my purpose. I realized that my experience could serve as a source of education, encouragement, and hope for individuals and families facing similar circumstances.
That realization became the foundation for We Believe Prison Consulting Group.
Our mission is simple: to help individuals prepare for incarceration, support families throughout the journey, and assist returning citizens as they rebuild their lives after release.
We provide practical education, real-world insight, faith-based encouragement, and support designed to help people navigate one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
The name "We Believe" reflects the core of everything we do.
